In the research, the model that best preserved battery health was the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Battery health, which remained at the level of 50 percent at approximately 97,2 thousand kilometers, decreased to 100 percent per 95 thousand kilometers and 150 percent at approximately 92,8 thousand kilometers.
Tesla's two popular models have lower averages at the same mileage level. While the Tesla Model Y reached an average of 90.3 percent battery health per 150 thousand kilometers, this rate was measured as 88.94 percent in the Tesla Model 3.
At the bottom of the list, there are some models with smaller battery capacities. Nissan Leaf ZE40 with 1 kWh battery remained at 150 percent per 86,67 thousand kilometers. At the same mileage, Renault Zoe showed 87,33 percent battery health and the first generation Mini Cooper SE showed 87,11 percent battery health.
