The appearance of the dots can be customized in different ways. The feature is being integrated into devices running Android 17.

There is also an important update on the accessibility side. The guided vision feature added to Gemini Live goes beyond identifying surrounding objects using the phone's camera. Users who are blind or have low vision can get help from the system to read small print food labels or a menu in a dimly lit restaurant. When the camera cannot be turned to the right point, Gemini Live directs the user to reach the right location with voice directions. The feature will be available on a wide range of devices running Android 9 and above.
